A big enough asteroid made it through the atmosphere and hit earths surface and made a crater in what we call now Arizona, the crater was there approximately 50,000 years ago and the width of the crater was 12 football fields long and 2 Statue of Liberties stacked up on each other deep. I believe that is one of the biggest craters on earth……so far.
